Real time solutions to understanding the CMS Regulations.
High quality and current concepts to support your Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) efforts.
A library of ideas, forms, templates, protocols, and tips to guide your QAPI efforts.
Content written by a multidisciplinary team of former Skilled Nursing Facility surveyors with over 25 years of experience.
As former surveyors, consultants, and educators we believe SNF Administrative and medical staff strive to meet the needs of their residents and the regulatory requirements. We know that the CMS regulations change frequently, are open to interpretation, and can be confusing.
SAVVY on the SOM is our ongoing commitment in both assisting SNF staff with demystifying CMS regulations as well as by providing insider knowledge for practical solutions in becoming compliant with the regulatory intent. The 2016 changes to the SNF regulations will be phased in over a three-year period. As CMS moves from the draft to final versions of the regulations the SAVVY on the SOM staff will endeavor to bring subscribers timely updates to these regulatory changes.
“This is just to let you know how much we appreciate you introducing SAVVY on the SOM to me and my team. There is so much important information in it and they are very easy to understand and easy to share with my team. We like most the Crosswalk to F Tags, QAPI Assessment guide and the Language cue cards. Thank you too for providing us the latest in the survey process which includes the LTC Survey Entrance Conference and other updated information from CMS. Everything is valuable!! I’m glad we decided to subscribe to it. Thank you again so much!”
